One thing I see here. Most PC users feel they are limited to
just one OS. On my system, I run Windows, Linux and soon, the
Beos Personal edition. On top of this, I have used the OS that
was developed with a PC Modula2 system. My Linux system will
run weeks without a reset and usually then it's cause I had to
run Windows.
This is what happens when the PC becomes an appliance. The
average user has know idea how to tap the power at their
fingertips. They blindly follow the leader and accept the
limitations placed upon them.
