Re: Strange display problem Apple ][c

Heres something new!
I got rid of the strange characters that were "glued" to the screen and it was
as I was told, bad memory. Since I did not have new memory available, I was
trying old chips that I removed from other IICs and, of course, they got
mixed up ;-)
But, now I have a new problem: The IIC will load PRODOS only until the welcome
screen, then it will beep and go into assembler (* prompt). If I press CTRL+C
and enter, it goes to Applesoft prompt and then I hit enter, Ill get 13
square blocks and a beep. ???? What is this??
No, it will not process any commands, just the blocks after each hit of
return.

HELP...
