There is a one chip difference between the GS-RAM+'s that work in the 
ROM 1 vs. the ones that work in the ROM 3.  I have a GS-RAM+ in my 
ROM 3 that used to be in my ROM 1.  The GS-RAM+ didn't follow the 
standard conventions for RAMcards, which is one of the reasons why
it has six banks of memory on it.

I happened to buy my GS-RAM+ when they included the chips for both
ROM versions.
