Regardless of whether you've uploaded it with "good intentions", you
have broken the law by distributing those disks against the copyright
holders wishes.
If all you wanted to do was fix an original that no longer works, then
you certainly didn't need to make all the other disks available to
everyone in the world.
By the way, if you no longer have the original of the first disk then
you need to track down another original to use it legally. If you
lose or destroy a disk then that is your fault and the copyright
holder doesn't need to give you a new one. An analogy would be if I
were to lose my copy of the Apple IIgs Toolbox Reference Volume 1.
That doesn't give me the right to photocopy someone else's original.
