Interesting.  So the Mega II was designed before the Rev. A. ][E. came out.
Then we had the Rev. B. ][E and finally the //e.

And the //gs used the Mega II to emulate the //e.  Seems somehow out of sync for
me.  (ok, ok, the //e is nothing more than a keyboard chip, ROM and a CPU
upgrade for the ][E so it is not related to the Mega II - how about Rev. A vs.
Rev. B ??)
