I used to call it "Flash-ROM" but when ordering some chips, I
found them under the title "Flash-RAM". Odd. I agree that
Flash-ROM is a more appropriate term. Anyway, I'm almost done
hammering out an inital design on paper that will allow up to a
4 MB Flash-ROM drive, 4 MB RAM drive or a combo 2 MB RAM / 2 MB
Flash-ROM dual drive. It can also run as low as a 512KB Flash-
ROM drive which would be quite cheap. The other chips can be
added at a later date by the end user. Just be sure to set the
right jumpers. :-) The design is a bit more complicated than
my ROM-Drive but I should still have a prototype done sometime
this spring.
