     The usual sources are currently down. You can find the System 6.0.1
disks as ShrinkIt whole-disk archive (.sdk) files along with Install
directions and Sys6 release notes in System601.zip on Asimov at
ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/incoming/ .

     System 6 is fairly large and may not fit very well on your IIgs until
you add a 4MB-8MB RAM card (like the Sirius Card from AllTech).  AllTech also
sells the Focus 'Hard Card' hard drives. (See  http://allelec.com .)

     For now, starting with System 5.0.4 may be your best bet. A disk which
boots System 5.0.4 is available at the URL mentioned above in System504.zip.
