I am not.  Indeed, I don't think we could sustain a moderated group, 
especially one in competition with an unmoderated group, and would vote 
against it.  I've seen too many moderated newsgroups fail due to loss of 
interest by the moderator and/or readership.

The best choice is to learn how to use your newsreader's filtering 
features to read only those articles you want to read and hide those you 
don't want to read.  In some groups, it is as simple as killing all 
articles and followups to them of a few annoying posters.  (I'm 
considering killfiling all articles with message-IDs ending with 
"@cotse.com>", and not just from the abuse of that anonymizer evident in 
this group.)
