Another idea about the ROM issue of legalities.  We could contact M$ and
ask if they would be willing to release the ROM and the ASM code for the
ROM as open source under the GPL.  They may be willing to release it as
they will be looking for some good PR after they are finished the the
DOJ.  This is a long shot but may be worth while.
