As an Amiga user, I can tell you that "kickstarting" from a floppy is
irritating.  While you only have to do it for the first time you power up,
it still has to be done, and one unlucky swap with a magnet, poof. yer done.

A later message was posted about a flashrom, and I like the idea.  The
hardware could be sold with an empty flash memory large enough to hold
either of the GS's roms.  It would still be the user's responsibility to
find and load the rom, but it wouldnt have to be loaded every time one
powers the system up. =)
