Now you mention it... some of the diskettes I tried to read resulted
in errors, either if I tried to read them with DSK2FILE (or with any
other programs I could think of) or when trying to boot from them.
At the time I blamed it on the age of the disks (some are 19 years
old) and it never occurred to me that it could have anything to do
with the computer speed, or the drive speed for that matter. Must check.
