Over here in Europe you can get these cheap mechanical SCART 3-to-1
"switchboard" things. They have all female connectors, as almost all
SCART cables are male-to-male. I don't know if you can put your hands on
any such thing outside PAL-land though, but I suspect you could always
order them from a UK or Oz based online supplier.

An alternative approach for someone who solders and has no committment
to SCART would be to cut the monitor connector off of a IIgs video cable
and solder the appropriate wires to the converter's SCART connector...
