Do you want to know which card you have?
Well, first ask the GS how much RAM it has. In GS/OS 6.0, the Finder
will tell you when you seect "About this computer" from the Apple
menu. On older systems, go to the control panel and look at RAM Disk.
Add the numbers for "Total RAM in Use" and "Total Free RAM". This is
the total amount of RAM your computer has; 256K of this is on the
motherboard; the rest is on the card.
So if you find your computer has, for example, 2304K of RAM, and the
expansion card is, say, 50% populated, it is a 4MB card.
P.S. there also are 6 MB cards.
