How true. Yet, does anyone ever use 80-column cards in other slots but 3?
Hmmm... now I mention this, I suddenly remember my first Videx card.
The manual said that it could be used in any slot, but I didn't
believe it, because I saw that the ROM on the card (at $C300 and
$C800) referred to hard coded addresses in the $C300 range.
However, when I tested it by putting the card in slot 4, those
addresses changed dutifully to $C400.
Never figured out how they did that exactly...
