Now that I've used the Vulcan utils to properly initialize the disk, the
screen does not appear. I'm thinking that the IIgs was pausing in that
in-between state, and now it is able to continue on to booting. It concerned
me, when I thought it was corruption of the hard disk, but it seems to be a
harmless quirk. It works great now.
