IIc LCD Screen on a IIGS?

Nothing I have read would lead me to think a //c LCD screen would work
with a IIgs, but who knows...
But, they are extremely rare! And they make for an extremely poor view!
Another suggestion (which wouldn't save much space but would save some
weight) is: Find a Monitor /// to use with your Apple IIgs and classic
AppleWorks. Or, find one of the 9-inch Monitor //c units.
Advantages to using a Monitor ///:
- cheap (many people don't like them so you may find one cheap/free)
- considerably lighter / easier to carry that a IIgs RGB monitor
- large and fairly sharp video (it's my favorite monochrome monitor)
- monochrome is all you need for classic AW anyway
- the //c LCD screens make a really poor view at best
- using it would not risk damage to a rare //c LCD screen
Advantages to using a Monitor //c:
- smaller / lighter / easier to carry that a IIgs RGB monitor
- small but sharp video
Disadvantages:
- neither is satisfactory for GS/OS and of course they are monochrome.
My ][ cents.
