No such thing as Australian NTSC - we use PAL.

I had a multistandard Panasonic TV (replaced after burglary by a
multistandard Sony).

I have the following //e computers:

Multitech MPF-III	NTSC	50Hz	(jumper selectable to 60Hz)
beige //e #1		PAL	60Hz	(replaced IOU to fix Meg80z problem)
beige //e #2		PAL	50Hz
platinum //e		????	50Hz

When I tested the first 3 I found that the MPF-III gave good color in NTSC
mode while the beige //e gave less intense color in PAL mode (the NTSC->PAL
conversion circuitry was never perfect).

The Platinum //e was obtained after I did those tests. The motherboard is
marked International NTSC but if it has been modified for 50Hz by replacing
the IOU and main crystal it will no longer have the exact NTSC color burst
frequency. I will have to take this home some time and try it out.
