I'd guess that was a few years ago -- the Sunday shopping laws have all
been dismantled. I can imagine your suprise, though -- ten years ago I
moved to Ontario from Alberta and it drove me crazy the way things shut
down on Sundays.
Like in the 'states, laws vary from province to province (you folks in
the U.S. have a few more provinces than we do, don't you? ;-). I
don't know if any provinces still prohibit Sunday shopping.
