Well, the Lisa did at least...I'm not certain of the exact price, but I
think Apple did manage to slim the price down a little (depending on the
configuration) of the Lisa 2.
(Think about it. For the Lisa (1) you were basically _required_ to get a
profile or 2 for it, and that would also require extra parallel interfaces
if you wanted more than one, and such...I wonder what the exact
configuration was of the often quoted $9,9xx Lisa was...totally bare, or
did it include, say, a "tremendously high-capacity 5mb Profile external
HD" to install LOS 1.0 onto)
Anyway, people often quote the "$10,000 price tag" whenever it involves a
lisa, even if it's a broken-down, hacked up, SunRem-modded, unusable as
anything but a big-screened pseudo-mac, Hack XL...and I just like to put
my $.02 in.
