Re: Distored Prices on eBay Affects Everyone
Hello,
I have to say that some stuff has been affected buy E-Bay but I believe
for the most part prices are not way out there. I have sold Apple IIe
computers complete with computer two drives and monitor with software for
$30.00 to $60.00. I believe that an Apple IIe is worth that. I bought my IIe
pre E-Bay and paid over $200.00 because they just weren't available in my
area so supply was down and demand was up. As far as the RARE Computers like
the II Plus, III and Lisa yes they are up there in price. I don't know what
they sold for before E-Bay but I don't think that paying $700.00 for a Lisa
is any different then paying $100,000.00 for a rare painting You really can
only look at either of them!
I see people in the news group posting Apple Duo Drives for $35.00 which
is great, I can get about $10.00 for one on E-Bay. I have about 80 to 90 of
them and will not post them because people on the news group have a higher
price so I don't want to cut throat them just to get rid of them.
Thanks,
