Hi Trevor, this message is normal for TWGS and Zip GS equipped
IIGSes. You see, it is a timing test. The IIGS starts counting and
realizes that everything is faster and decides something is wrong.
Of course, nothing is really wrong, only faster.
Rest assured, there's nothing wrong with the IIGS. The Zip GS
card has a "feature" that when set, causes the Zip GS card to
turn itself off whenever the IIGS starts running the counter (the so
called "Counter Delay") in order to pass this test. But this tends
to slow down the Zip GS a little, so Zip GS users turn the delay
off. The TWGS does not have this feature, but I've always
wondered why anyone would want to slow down an accelerator
just to pass a self-test. ;-)
