Cables 590-0037 and 590-0166 are both made by Apple Computer. Those
part numbers seem to be Apple Service part numbers. I'm looking at a
fairly old Apple Service price guide (October 1995), and it doesn't
have the printer or the cables listed, meaning it's THAT old!

A few places you could try to find at least 590-0166 is:

The Arc <http://www.thearc.com/apple2.html>
Apple Notes <http://til.info.apple.com/tilarchive.nsf/artnum/n1095>
   They're calling the cable a Modem Eliminator Cable (Part #590-0166)
   and Serial and Communications Cable (Part #590-0037)

Through the TIL, I'm finding that other printers, such as the Apple
Color Plotter and the Imagewriter I uses the same cable. So I would
imagine someone (may want to even try Belkin <http://www.belkin.com/>)
must have these cables available.
