     Yes; but, the only differences between v1.22 and v1.21 are the docs and an
updated "About" display.

     The presence of the HELLO program (or any other program) should not matter so
long as the diskette is correctly formatted.

     You could try formatting another disk-- and check that it boots. If you're
sure that you have a good DOS 3.3 formatted (Double Density-- not High Density)
diskette in the drive and still get an error, you may have gotten a bad copy of
ADT.

     Normally, the Apple II part of ADT is transferred at low speed as monitor
input (via IN#) without error checking. The recommended baud rate is 300 and, for
a 1MHz IIe, the recommended line delay is about a second. If you transferred ADT
at a higher baud rate or without at least .5 second line delay, the odds of
getting some bad bytes are fairly high.
