Apple IIgs Technical Manuals
Hello,
Around 1985 or 1986 I bought an Apple IIc and loved the little puppy. I
was pretty mad when the Apple II was killed - first, because I could not
believe they could have murdered them for the macintosh - second,
because I had given my IIc system with all the original boxes, tech.
manuals, etc to my sister's children(that my brother in law commandeered
for his ham radio setup). Needless to say I will never own a mac. The
thing that was so nice about the IIc was that I was able to purchase all
of the technical manuals for ProDos, Hardware, and Firmware.
I just purchased an Apple IIgs mostly for nostalgia, but also because it
will allow me to do some native asm development when I don't have to do
my real job as an embedded sw/hw design engineer.
Yesterday I subscribed to this newsgroup and read most of the last 900
or so posts. I also downloaded the FAQs for review at my leisure.
Also, I checked out Supertimer's links for various hw, etc. and
bookmarked Rubywand's site, too.
I checked out Amazon.com for the IIgs technical reference manuals and
found them...long out of print. Does anyone have the total collection
of technical reference manuals authored by Apple and published by
Addison-Wesley available for sale?\
Sorry for the length of the post.
TIA
Martin
