Yes, you came close to spelling his last name correctly but didn't
quite make it. :)
The articles were called Ciarcia's Circuit Cellar and were written by
Steve Ciarcia.
I have a book from 1979 of a dozen or so of the projects he did in
Byte but it doesn't have any of the really cool Apple II projects that
he did. I'd love to find more books like this and some day I'll have
to track down the issues of Byte with the Circuit Cellar column in
them that I don't already own.
