As a collector, I can assure you that it just means I snatch Apple II
stuff from the jaws of the local dump. The only time real money is
involved is when it's something hard to find, like a scsi card. The less
Apple II stuff is worth, the more of it will end up in the dump. If
collectors drive up prices, at least more of it will be preserved for
the day when you need it.
