First of all, check to make sure you are using the 3.5" disk driver that
came with System 6.0.1. If you have the AE 1.6MB driver in there or
a 3.5" driver from System 5.0.4, etc., you must remove it.
Next, you have the SuperDrive connected to a SuperDrive card,
correct? I think this must be the case because your IIe can read the
1.44MB disk. If you are not using the card on the IIGS, you need to
move it from your IIe to your IIGS.
Hrmph, one last thing, the Mac is notorious for causing problems with
ProDOS transfers to the IIGS via disk. Install the HFS FST on the
IIGS and stick to HFS 1.44MB disks (the ones the Mac makes normally,
not special ones through PC Exchange). With HFS FST installed, the
IIGS reads and writes Mac HFS disks just fine. Again, DO NOT use
ProDOS, use HFS.
