How is the hard drive connected to the Mac?

If it plugs into the SCSI port (25 pin connector) then you will need a
SCSI card in your IIe to use it.

If it plugs into the drive port (19 pin connector) then it is marginally
possible that the drive will work with the Universal Disk Controller
card.  I have no idea whether the card supports this sort of hard drive.

(For genuine Apple drives, the "HD20" plugs into the drive port, and the
"HD20SC" plugs into the SCSI port.)
