FS: Videx Ultraterm cards

I have two Videx Ultraterm cards which apparently DO NOT WORK that I
would like to get rid of. I would throw them away, but they might be
useful to someone with more time and desire than I to get them working.
I always thought this was a really amazing card for the Apple II, II
Plus, and IIe. It has 9 video modes for text display, ranging up to
160x24 or 80x48, and has a very nice interlaced video character set. I
found it very useful for Applesoft and assembler programming as well as
telecom (Softerm II supports it very nicely). It's compatible with the
Videoterm for 80x24 display, and there were preboot disks for
Applewriter and Visicalc to take advantage of the extended modes, but I
don't have them. Anyhow, I can't get my IIe to boot with either card
installed. All of the chips on the cards are socketed (a good thing,
since the PCB appears to have 4 layers!), so unless both cards have the
same problem it might be possible to get one working card by swapping
components between them. Included with the cards is one original
package, cable, manual (which is very detailed, including schematics and
ROM listings), and demo disk. Anyhow, best offer above shipping costs
takes 'em. Thanks!
