     You can get DIP plugs at Digi-Key and Mouser. Digi-Key also sells
DIP plugs connected to a length of ribbon cable. A local hobbiest
electronics shop may have surplus 16-to-16 DIP plug ribbon cables or
misc modules attached to 16-pin DIP plugs with cables.

     Another good source for 16-pin joystic plugs with cables is old
joysticks and game paddles you may find at thrift shops.

     Good to know-- too bad, though. Do the digital PC joysticks require
