I was browsing the web when I came across a page that instantly reminded me of those VORTEX 3-D audio disks of old.. <giggle> http://www.apple.com/pr/library/1999/jan/19spatializer.html Apparently, Apple is licensing some software that will allow playback of audio through 2 speakers as if it were coming from the standard 5 speaker surrond setups.. Oh well, enough of my strange nostalgia.. JML
