Years ago (easily over 5 years...probably more) someone posted that the
exact color match for the 'Apple Platinum' color was available through
Tensor. They make the paints for painting plastic models, etc.

You may want to try and determine if this is still available. If so, I
wouldn't bother trying to clean off the old paint just paint over with
the original color.

But, actually, the easiest thing to do is to shop for a very cheap IIgs
and either use that or at least its case
