That's not really a simple question to answer.  Basically you just
need to interface the computer to the electronic device you want to
control.  Whether this is through the game connector, the annunciator
outputs, the cassette input and outputs, a serial or parallel card, an
analog to digital converter, a digital to analog converter or a custom
circuit on a card that goes into a slot doesn't matter.

As long as you get the result you want and don't see smoke start
pouring out of you //e case.  :-)

free to ask and I'm sure myself or someone else here could come up
with an answer.
