Re: "Write Protection"-problem with DuoDisk on Apple IIe
I didn't see the original post, but I had a write protection problem with a
DuoDisk years ago which turned out to be a short in the cable. I had to take
it into the shop several times because each time they tested it, it worked
fine. The workstation I had it in was causing the cable to be turned in a
particular position that caused the computer to "misread" the write-protect
switch while the same cable worked fine in the shop.
