I don't want to get involved in previous discussions in c.s.a2.
However, a simple e-mail to Apple might yield a conracopia of
information.

It might be NDA, but products could still be made (you don't _always_
have to give away source, contrary to Richard Stallman of GNU fame)
from the information.

So, I have e-mailed Apple SW Licensing to request this information.  I
will keep everyone apprised on the status of my request.
