Hi all,
I am interested in using my Mac SE as an external hard drive to my IIGS. I
partitioned the hard drive into one ProDos partition and one Mac partition.
What I did was made the SCSI ID of the SE's hard drive #4. Then, I hooked
an SCSI cable to the SCSI card (an Apple card) on my GS and hooked the other
end to the SE's SCSI port. I had the SE on first, (it was shut down but the
power wasn't off) and then turned on the GS. The GS won't recognize the
drive when I try to use the System 6.0.1 installer. The weird thing is when
I used the SE as an external drive to my powerbook, it worked. Both
partitions could be seen. Is my SCSI card faulty or am I doing something
wrong.
I did buy an external SCSI hard drive from Chet Gearhart and never got it.
GRR..that makes me angry.
Thanks.
Jon
