What SCSI card do you have in the IIgs?
If it is not a RamFast, what SCSI ID is it set to? It must be something
other than 7 for this to even have a chance of working. (Every desktop
Mac has a SCSI ID of 7 for the computer itself and is unchangeable.)

I haven't had a close look at the options presented by a PowerBook, but
I don't recall seeing a way to change the SCSI ID of the computer. I'm
surprised this worked.
