Re: a2 dead? read this.
I have been on CSA2 since August '97. In tbat time, I have never flamed
anyone. I need to ask this question and hope it is not taken as a flame.
Nathan, who are these "pirates, jerks, and thieves" that we shouldn't
tolerate. The only ones you mentioned on your web site are Dr. Tom and
Rubywand. I tried and failed to find the infamous article in which
Rubywand endorsed piracy with Deja News. As I obviously missed the
Rubywand message, I also seem to have missed ALL the messages from Dr.
Tom in which he advocates piracy. All I have seen from them are helpful,
constructive posts. From what I have observed, they are good members of
the community. True, they have participated in the numerous flame wars,
but so have you.
Jim gets it right when he says to stop whining. Please respond to this
post and tell me what to search for with Deja News to prove my position
wrong. I am sorry to invite another flame war, but enough is enough. I
am tired of seeing Nathan's rants again and again with no justification.
I have read the file on Dr. Tom. Is it possible that he has reformed
himself? Give him a break.
I am NOT defending my friends. To my knowledge, I do not know anyone
here personally.
I am just acting on my observations since August '97. Please help me see
that my position is wrong with example or stop the rants.
LJSilicon, your personal attacks on Nathan after his rants aren't
helping the Apple II community any more than the rants you were
responding to.
