You don't need the postscript package.  The Stylus 800 is compatible
with the Epson LQ line.  In fact, the Stylus 800 will print at 360x360
dpi from the Apple IIGS using Harmonie's Epson LQ4000 driver.  No color,
but true laser quality.  Just plug the Mac into the serial port and
the GS into the parallel port of the printer and both can use it (the
GS also works on the Epson's serial port).

Shareware Solutions II (http://www.crl.com/~joko/harmonie.html ) has
the Harmonie package of printer drivers.

There is no need to waste money on postscript capability (besides, the
PS driver in the GS has a font naming problem).
