ayuh. i know about that one... (try taking a look at my domain
name... <evil grin>) i'm trying to plan ahead so that i could have
more than two machines connected... until i DO have a hub (what's the
point of having one until i NEED one?), crossovers are a good deal...

ummm... you mean those wires with the modular-phone-looking
connectors on the end? the RJ-45? nope. never seen 'em. i just
make them for fun when i'm building my network.... <g>
bear in mind that i go to Radio Shack for the entertainment value...
i've only seen one or two salespeople (MAX!) that actually knew what
they were talking about..... one of the two i give partial credit
because i asked if they had any RJ-45 crimpers, and she remembered
seeing "RJ-11" on the phone stuff, so she knew that it was something
like it....
