Yup. The new gate arrays provided both analog and digital RGB which
meant you could connect a GS analog RGB monitor to the EX/2 as
an alternative to the cheap CGA digital ones for superior quality.

The EX/2 was V-Tech's response to the IIc Plus and I must say it was
a superior computer. It could be set to match a IIc Plus, a stock GS,
or a IIe in speed. The built in disk controller could use Apple 3.5,
UniDisk 3.5, and 5.25 disks and the CT drives for the IIc. It had a 3.5
Chinon (Mac) drive built in. It had a rechargeable Ni-Cad battery pack
and a clock/calender/battery backed control panel. It had serial and
parallel ports and a built in MIDI interface. It even had a slot on the
side so that you could connect a hard card or any other Apple II card.
The internal 1MB memory expansion was great and the video chip
also supported an optional LCD display.

The EX/2 clearly bested the IIc Plus.
