Yes, I agree with Randy S. I've bought old IBM CPUs just to get the power
supply out of them, and the huge memory cards are a free bonus. Dozens of
chassis screws. loudspeaker, nylon standoffs, jumpers, even the 3.6volt
lithium battery will all transplant to the Apple II! The older XT and AT
IBM units usually yield the "64" byte ram chips (to put into the IIc or
IIe), while the newer 286 IBM gives the "256" chips needed for Apple II
ram boards.
The "386" IBM uses 30-pin SIMM memory boards that might be transplantable
into the QRAM Pacemark memory board, or into a Mac SE or Mac SE/30.
