: The chips are 41256, 150ns or faster and you can find them at
: Alltech Electronics, www.allelec.com, but it would be a better idea
: to get a new memory card. By the time you buy all the 41256 chips,
: you could have gotten a 2MB to 8MB memory card. Alltech sells
: one that takes 1MB 30 pin SIMMs up to 8MB and Sequential Systems,
: www.sequential.com, sells two different cards, one going from 2MB
: to 4MB and the other from 4MB to 8MB.

If you like or at least don't mind rummaging through used computer store
junk piles, you can most likely get an old 286 logic board chock full of
chips which will transplant onto your memory card. You can get these boards
for as little as $2 a pop. I bought a whole stack of 'em and filled every
memory card on hand with the chips. This is a cost effective way to get more
memory if you can't afford or justify a new card.

I have a whole bag of 64K chips left over too since most use two sets of
256Ks and two sets of 64Ks to get that magic 640K figure.
