The DeskWriter only communicates at a 56700 baud rate, but the built
in serial port control panel of the GS only goes up to 19200. You
have to install a third party CDA port control that can go up to this
speed if you want the DeskWriter to print from 8-bit programs and
Applesoft. I'll see if I can find one from my list of programs and
post it to comp.binaries.apple2 for you, or you can search the public
ftp servers.

You need a third party high speed port driver that goes up to 56700
baud for the Harmonie drivers to work with AWGS. I know for a fact
that Harmonie includes such a port driver. Please install it and
select it in the DC Printer control panel before trying this again.
The DW310 capatible driver is the DeskJet 550 one. Select that
for the printer and the Harmonie 56700 serial driver for the port
and try again. Good luck!
