Thanks for the reply. I did clean the drive with an Opus disk head cleaner.
6 times! Nothing. ALthough when I took the drive apart it finally stopped
spinning (in use red light was off) and I received a syntax error message
on the monitor and a prompt. This is the only time the drive has stopped
spinning.
Further suggestions welcome.
