Your files may have been saved in Showoff's version of Apple
Preferred format. If this is the case, you can expect problems with
SuperConvert, Platinum Paint, Convert3200, ... . Evidently, there is
something screwy about Showoff's understanding of "Apple Preferred".
Try this: Load your pics into Showoff and save them as "Bitmap"
graphics. (You may need to select New, type in a Sequence name, select a
non-write-protected disk, and select Save first in order to have the
menu allow you to load and save a graphic.) Saving as "Bitmap" produces
true, unpacked SHR "screen" files which SuperConvert and any GS painter
can handle.
