IIc and RGB Monitors

I am sitting in my classroom working on all the computers that no one
wants. I've got 13 running so far. I'll soon surpass the computer lab.
So, here's the problem.

I ran out of old monitors for my IIc's. Are they compatible with the
Apple RGB Monitor that shipped with the IIGS, I've got lots of those.
Does it require a different cable? The GS cable fits but the IIc locks
up. Thanks for any help.
