: GNO is freeware and can be had at:

: and it is 75% C. That proves Randy wrong because it is not all
: "hand coded assembly." Most GS software is sizably C.

Show me where I said it was all assembly. And it certainly isn't Linux,
which is the last word in file system design according to Nathan.

: Apple chosen to support it, a 32-bit descendent could have easily
: been developed from it (look at the Pentium descended from the 8-bit
: 8080!).

Why the HELL are you making this crap up? I said that the OS is not
reentrant, nothing more. You need to start using a threaded newsreader
or pay better attention.

I don't take kindly to people saying I'm "bashing the GS" and that I "hate
the processor" either. I've written a healthy amount of assembly code on
6500s, which doesn't sound characteristic of someone who hates them as much
as know it alls let on. My IIgs hits eleven years of use in March too. If
I were in the habit of "bashing" it like you let on, it would have been
thrown through the window long ago.
