Network with a Mac

After reading the networking article in Joe Kohn's newsletter a few months
back, I spent some time networking my IIgs to my Mac Performa with
PhoneNet cards. It seems to work beautifully! Being able to store my GS
files on my 1 gig Mac drive has sure freed up my 40 meg GS hard drive
quite a bit, not to mention it impresses all of my friends. :)

One question, though: Is it possible to access my Mac CD-ROM drive on the
IIgs? If this is possible, would I be able to purchase some IIgs CD-ROMS,
insert them in my Mac's CD-ROM, and access them with the GS's System 6?
How about audio CD's? Or is this a complete impossibility?

Many thanks in advance for any help.
