I got a 200 mhz 603e, 2 gig HD, 16 meg RAM, 256 cache.. and its a Umax
that I chose to buy. No one forced me. And beleive me. This is much
faster than a 200 mhz pentium. Iuse those at work.

They are different ways of diving tasks between a single processor. No
more, no less.If you want "true multitasking", then youhave to have
multiple CPUs.

the W95 machine at work crashes far more than my mac at home. And when
Navigator does crash at home (thats about the onlyapp that crashes), it
hasnt taken the whole machine since Ive gottenthe new PPC. I run MacOS
purge and go forward.

It supports everything with PCI cards. I have found no home or even SOHO
apps that need anything more than the stereo suuround sound of my Mac.

Did you pass math in school?

I never said PCs were evil. Ive said Microsoft is evil. Ivs said that
people that choose to use Microsoft software are deluded.

Well, my IIgs sits right next to my Mac, and Ive found the Mac to be a
good comparison.

Im not missing out on anything. I have 3 Macs and a IIgs at home. I am
FORCED to work on a W95 machine at worked. I said forced and I meant
forced. I hate it.

I am still lookingfor ways to upgrade my GS. I still dont have a SCSI
card for it. I will get the TCP software for it as soon as it is
available. And, if Apple goes under, there's always Linux, BE, OS/2...
but will NOT resort to Microsoft in my home... and if I can banish that
crap from my workplace so much the better...

BTW, I didnt spring forth a Mac lover, Ive gone though several platforms
(TI 994/A, RS Color Computer, Apple IIe, IIgs, DOS machines and Windoze
machines and Macs). I choose my computers based on what I LIKE. ANd on
my desk... is a Umax and a IIgs.
